Bed Sheets

A valance on a bed sheet has a function of being decorative but it has a high burden:

Every time the sheet is washed the valance must be washed too, using more water, soap and electricity.
A sheet with a valance will take up more space in storage.
A sheet with a valance will cost more than one without.

So, buy a sheet without a valance.
